5 Ways to Get In Shape During Winter For Spring

During winter, it is a proven fact people gain weight and eat more than when it’s hot out. Pack on that survival layer from the cold!

But the more you add these 5 ways to get in shape during winter, the easier it will be to make it up and be in shape when the shirt has to come off and shorts come on in the spring and summer.

Do one or all of these starting today and see a notch of progress from each one in it’s own way. Combine them all for faster and better results. Master on at a time or go big and do a clean sweep or lifestyle change. The second one is more risky for you to fail because it’s a big change, but has dramatic benefits. The first one is easier to do and low chance of failing at all. One step a time. Your choice. The goal isn’t how fast you can succeed getting in shape, it is doing whatever possible to not fail majorly and quit. Little failures are ok but you want to avoid the major one of just quitting it from being overwhelmed.

5.Focus on eating half the sugar you are now at least.

It’s tough to quit sugar completely. Especially if you’re used to it like most of us are. But if you want to get in shape, you must at least reduce it some. Find ways where you are taking in sugar the most and cut it in half for a few months. If you drink pop, switch to water or diet or diet iced tea. Anything with alot less sugar. Than if you drink coffee and like teaspoons of sugar, only let your self do 1 teaspoon if you can’t cut out both.

4.Focus on weight training each body part once per week over 3-5 workouts. Spend an hour 3-5 days a week and focus on working out two body parts each hour. Regardless at home or at the gym, or outside, find a way to challenge your muscles to start getting in shape.

Shoulders,Chest,Traps,Back,lower back,Biceps,Triceps,calves,abs,forearms,obliques are what you need to take care of each week. You can pair some together, just remember to give rest to that bodypart for 48-72 hours before you hit it again with training.

3. Eat more nuts,fruits,veggies,and meats

Sticking to these foods will make sure your nutrition is made to be able to get in shape. It’s ok to have carbs and bad fats around your weight training times and some days but most of the time, you want to eat these kind of foods to build lean muscle and burn fat.

Allow yourself a day or two a week to eat the carbs and foods you crave to stay on track. For the most part though, you need to eat cleaner to see results. The better you get at it, the better shape you’ll see your body getting into. Remember that. Even if it’s for a week of eating clean at a time, you can take a break if hard, and do another week soon as you’re ready.

2.Drink more water no matter what. Aim to drink a gallon a day because this will raise your metabolism and detox you of all the bad stuff that causes you to get low energy and sick.

1.Because everyone is so different, there is no general manual to follow. Except this. If you slowly cut your calories by a couple hundred, you will know yourself better to know when you start losing weight. The trick is to do it slow and in less amount of calories per drop. Don’t drop too much at once or you’ll feel it in your energy levels. All of this happens while you are doing number 4 listed above. You burn calories and build muscle, which burns more calories. Then you start cutting sugars and watching the foods you eat a bit while cutting calories in small chunks daily. Then you are keeping track to see how your body responds. if it isn’t working, cut a little more and be a little more strict.

To increase metabolism for our bodies to get shredded faster is like installing a turbo or supercharger on your car. What if every single workout or cardio session you have in the gym is boosted by 10%-20%?

Imagine how much faster you reach your goals of how you look and how much more efficient you are at doing it? Besides that fact, your motivation will be sky high and confidence soaring from hitting these milestones for yourself faster than attended. It is a snowball effect for success.

To get that snowball rolling, one of the most immediate and biggest actions you can take now is to increase metabolism.

How do you boost your metabolism and get shredded faster than what I’m doing?

There are a few ways, and your best bet is to use them all together to form one big rage against the machine of storing fat in your body. The key is to allow metabolism to be increased, then consistently do it, then let the cards fall where they may after you put the work in to let them fall.

Some people genetically have better metabolisms(or fat burning powers) than others. That doesn’t mean you can’t boost it, anyone can. Only a small percentage of people have the right mixture of genes to get freaky muscular and be able to hold that muscle and burn all their fat off together. Plus, most people don’t want to be freaky looking. It looks bad in a dress or suit anyway.

But lower body fat to look lean, healthy, and sexy is what we want, and that is realistically achievable.

Increase Metabolism and Get Shredded Faster By:

1.Weight Training

  • It is a fact that if you build muscle at all, your metabolism has no choice but to get a boost. Like money, the more you have the more easy it is to get. Same with muscle. Once you can build some up, you are an investor into fat burning without even moving. You burn more calories and fat sleeping than someone who doesn’t workout with weights.
  • Aim to train all body parts once a week into 3-5 workouts. Group them up differently to include(chest,shoulders,triceps,biceps,quads,hamstrings,calves,back,traps,abs,etc).
  • If 3 workouts per week, you will do more bodyparts and get more rest to build more muscle by lifting with more energy. But with 5 workouts, you can focus in on each bodypart more and burn almost twice as many calories, the perfect recipe to get shredded along with some good,clean eating. Find your perfect number from 3,4 or 5 days and then add in cardio days if you feel like maximizing fat burning for a few weeks at a time.

2.Increase Metabolism with Correct Water Intake Daily

  • One of the cheapest and fastest ways to boost your fat burning furnace is by drinking 1 gallon of water daily. Try it if only for a couple weeks or 14 days. Once you get used to it, it’s not that hard to do. You can half of that easily during an hour workout or cardio session.
  • To maximize this, add a few drops of green tea extract into your water each time, or in a gallon each morning to evenly add to bottles of water throughout the day.
  • Yes, it’s a little of a pain to think about your water intake, but if you want to get shredded and boost your metabolism, it’s a must. I wouldn’t mention it if it was only a tiny bit of help and not worth the time or organization throughout the day to think about. It works amazingly well.

3.Take a safe fat burner or pre workout supplement an hour before each workout

  • There are many products out there that supposedly burn fat. What actually does help and is proven? Look for products with caffeine, green tea extract, cayenne pepper,cla,B vitamins like B6 and B12, Folic Acid, Amino Acids, L-Arginine,and Creatine.
  • I can show you a few good ones to take that are a safe bet here. Yes, I earn a small commission of 5% for buying them through any links I give you, but it’s convenient and at the most well known place to get them from online. Or you can go to any GNC or Vitamin Shoppe to get them as well. I just make it convenient if you want to get it over with.
  • Some of my favorites are Jet Fuel, Lean-EFX Refined, and Bull Nox powder. I prefer powders to mix because you drink more water to reach 1 gallon during your workout, and they taste great(sometimes). Bull nox tastes amazing as do alot of watermelon or blue rasberry flavors.
  • Remember, these only help spark your metabolism, use them as the bottle says and only on days you train an hour before your cardio or workout session. Without eating cleaner or working out, these will not work except maybe to give you energy or cut down cravings.

4.Change your rest days and workout rest times

  • If you currently workout with people as partners, it may effect your calorie and fat burning waiting too long until it’s your turn to do the set. Try reducing your rest periods to very brief to keep your heart rate from going down too much.
  • If you workout 3 days a week, up it to 4 for a few weeks. This alone could increase metabolism and help you to get shredded faster.

If you follow or master even one of these tips, you will make noticeable changes to yourself for the better. Combine them all, and you have a really solid recipe to increase metabolism and get shredded very fast.

Once you boost it up, the results will keep rolling in like hitting the lottery, but it is you who made it happen by researching and reading info by those who accomplish the same goal over and over.

Between reading  from a fitness magazine here and there, ads from supplement stores and online, and fitness blogs, it’s pretty easy to fall into pit falls of information that is just flat out untrue.

Without knowing what to do to my body, I would fall into the same pitfalls, but for me, it would cost me a job so I can’t let that happen. And i don’t want to let that happen to you either. Number 1 Fitness Tip

Doing ab crunches or ab machines for your ab workouts will burn belly fat

Unfortunately, even though we have alot of control over manipulating our bodies, we are unable to target one specific area to burn fat on. You can either burn fat, or not burn fat. Be in fat burning mode, or not be in fat burning mode. Everyone is different into where they hold more fat. Some hold more fat in their legs then belly, and vice versa.

Either way, to melt belly fat, you need to combine(fat burning cardio,raise metabolism,cut calories) to be in that mode.

Simply doing ab crunches or ab workouts alone will strengthen your core and make your abs look better when you do remove enough belly fat, but to remove belly fat, you need to remove fat in general first.

If you’re not sweating, you’re not working hard enough

Sweating is a great way to show that you are hydrated and your body is cooling itself off. But to judge on whether or not you are working hard enough, it is not a good way to go based on that. You can burn alot of calories and burn fat, and build lean muscle without sweating much.

Sometimes bodybuilders and fitness models will take a light week, which includes walking and light exertion weight lifting and not breaking much sweat at all, but it still is highly effective at reaching results as long as you do it right.

Cardio will boost your metabolism for hours after you finish working out.

Even though your metabolism will slightly be higher after your workout for hours, it is not much at all or statistically worth it to take into consideration.

With weight training however, your metabolism will be very high for hours after your workout, even though with cardio, you are burning more at the time being during the cardio session.

Look at it this way…cardio(walking,running,jogging,etc) is short term for high calorie burning now. Say you burn 600 calories in an hour doing cardio. But only 20 calories throughout the day after from a raised metabolism. So you have 620 total. Then weight training, the calories burned during that hour is lower, say 350, but you end up on average with 100 calories burned more with weight training. Plus, any muscle you build also equals a higher metabolism because more muscle means more calorie burning. Weight lifting is also like saving your money for the ling run as well.

Your best bet is to weight train 3-5 times a week, and do a cardio session after each weight training session to get the benefits of both. Remember to rest properly of course for recovery and reap the benefits.
